Migrations to AWS, planned to the workload.
Applications, databases, data platforms and AI workloads moved to AWS with a written plan, a measured baseline and a cost model you agreed before anything moved. Including engagements under the AWS Migration Acceleration Program.
The problem
Most migrations fail on the plan, not the move. Workloads get lifted without knowing what they cost today, dependencies surface in the cutover window, and the bill afterwards is a surprise because nobody modelled it.
We start with an assessment that inventories what you run, what it depends on and what it costs, and we agree the target architecture and the cost model in writing before the first resource is created. Migrations structured for the AWS Migration Acceleration Program follow its assess, mobilise and migrate phases, so the funding paperwork is a by-product of the plan rather than extra work.
What we deliver
- Migration readiness assessment with dependency map and cost baseline
- Target architecture, landing zone and security baseline
- Wave plan with cutover runbooks and rollback for each wave
- Execution with your team, or by ours under your accounts
- Post-migration optimisation: right-sizing, reservations, decommissioning
- AI inference migration from GPU to Trainium and Inferentia where the numbers justify it
How we work
Assess
Inventory, dependencies, current cost and risk. Written report with a recommendation per workload: rehost, replatform, refactor, retire.
Mobilise
Landing zone, identity, networking, security controls and the wave plan. Funding paperwork prepared where MAP applies.
Migrate
Wave by wave, with runbooks, canary cutovers and rollback. Nothing moves without a tested way back.
Optimise
Thirty to sixty days after cutover: right-size, reserve, remove what is idle, and hand over the cost dashboard.
What backs it
Common questions
Do you only migrate AI workloads?
No. Applications, databases, file servers, data platforms and AI workloads. The AI inference migration to Trainium is one specialised wave inside a larger plan when it applies.
Can we use AWS funding?
Where the engagement qualifies for the Migration Acceleration Program we structure it to its phases and prepare the paperwork with you. Eligibility depends on the workload and on AWS's current programme terms, which we confirm at assessment.
Who executes, you or us?
Either. Some clients want their team to do the work with us planning and reviewing; others want us to execute inside their accounts. Both are fixed scope.
